My first question what is everyone else doing for summer vacation? What activities do you have planned? I have been trying to think of things to do with the kids to keep them busy that is wallet friendly and fun.
I am thinking about a trip to the Missouri Botanical Gardens (where my dad works), then maybe a trip to the zoo. But it ends up us being in the house and the kids driving me nuts cause they are bored or they just wanna play video games. I don't want them playing video games all the time cause, when I was a kid I woke up ate breakfast and was gone playing outside until the street lights came on.
I am hoping that it feels like things calm down. I feel like I am running non stop all the time.
So I just wanted to ask what everyone else has planned for summer activities. I am hoping it will give me incentive to slow down, cause the year is already half over and I feel like I haven't been able to enjoy anything.
