2nd Shift Oh how I hate you so

So tonight marks the first night of my hubby being on 2nd shift! Lemme tell ya how much I hate when he works at night, you tend to hear strange noises and wonder who is watching you through your window. The dogs bark and you wonder what they hear that you can't hear. Plus the fact that I can't sleep when he isn't home, so I stay awake until he either gets home or I finally pass out. But thankfully with 2nd shift he should get home around 11:30 late enough to make me super tired the next day but still early enough that I will actually be able to sleep.

He is on 2nd shift all this week with the exception that he is off tomorrow. So after I take the kids to school in the morning I am going to make my run to walmart then walgreen's and use my coupons that expire at the end of this month. I should save if I figured it right around give or take $60 bucks and spending roughly $80. I tried to prep myself for what we needed that I had coupons for and where I needed to go for the sales and or deals. I will get that done while he sleeps so then I can get him up in time so he can go with me to pick the kids up from school.

I had him take Sunday off just in case I may or may not have a lil too much to drink for my birthday on Saturday. We are going to the Tri-City banquets he is being honored for 9th place in points which is one spot up from last year! He will get a bigger trophy and hopefully a bigger paycheck! lol Of course that all goes back into his race car. lol  After the banquets we are meeting up with friends and heading to belleville to play laser tag (which I have never played) it should be tons of fun. Then we will have some drinks after, but if I get my way I will have some before at the banquet. LOL I hope my body can handle everything I plan to put it through come Saturday. haha Then next weekend we are going to go out to eat for my birthday and then a movie. That's what I wanted from my hubby dinner and a movie!  Of course dinner will be at my favorite restaurant (Olive Garden), I still don't know what movie we will see yet. Just waiting to see what comes out I guess. I am actually thinking we will get OG to go and then head over to Lonestar cause I have a "Birthday Coupon" for a free appetizer with the purchase of a entree so I told him he could have his steak their and I have my pasta from OG. lol Fair enough right plus we will get a free appetizer. lol
